To set up a proxy on macOS, click the Apple menu → System Settings → Network in the sidebar. Select your active network service (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), click Details, then open the Proxies tab.
(On macOS Monterey or earlier: System Preferences → Network → select your connection → Advanced → Proxies.)
Turn on the proxy type you need — Web Proxy (HTTP), Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS), or SOCKS Proxy — and enter your server's IP address and the port number. If your proxy requires authentication, turn on "Proxy server requires password" and enter the username and password as specified in your Gsocks account.
Click OK, then Apply to save the changes. You can now browse via the proxy.
