Ghost Browser is an open-source browser based on Chromium. It is an excellent choice for multi-accounting as it allows to manage various accounts from the same window. You can set up Gsocks residential proxy in Ghost Browser following these steps.

1) Download Ghost Browser application and install it.

2) At the bottom left of the window, click on Browser Settings (1) >> the System (2) tab >> Open your computer's proxy settings (3) OR go to the Ghost Proxy Control (4) extension.

If you choose the Open your computer's proxy settings option, you can follow these steps to set up proxy in Windows or other OS. You will need to add the user details in GB after configuring OS settings manually:

If you choose Ghost Proxy Control, click on the proxy icon >> Add/Edit Proxies.

4) In Ghost Proxy Control go to Add a Single Proxy tab and add your residential proxy details to the corresponding fields:

  • Host - residential.gsocks.net.

  • Port - the port number that is specified for your port in your Gsocks account >> Proxies >> Residential tab.

  • Username and Password - the user details for the residential port in question.

You can find the username and password of the residential port in question by copying a link to a proxy list and pasting it in another tab, where you will see the list with all the details above.

5) Click Add Proxy to save the details in the extension; now they are ready to be used. To double-check the proxy setup, visit an IP checker website within Ghost Browser and click on the proxy extension icon again >> in the Active Identity or Active Workspace fields choose your Gsocks proxy and reload tab to activate the proxy connection. If you see the location as you chose for your Gsocks proxy port, you have added Gsocks proxy to GB successfully!
